(More customer reviews)I've had this mortar and pestle for a few years now and it's really held up well. The advantage of being stoneware is that it doesn't absorb flavors (wood) and you can safely use acids (granite), so it's very low maintenance. I would very much recommend the 20 OZ size, and even this is a little small for making guacamole for a family.
