This one is good, but it really can only handle melting butter or a very small amount of liquid - like 1 cup. It heats up quickly and contents tend to want to burn. Handle gets hot. It is great though for melting butter, which is what I wanted, but if you want to mix up a packet of gravy, you will need the slightly larger Farberware.

I am going to buy more of them as gifts to friends with bread machines, friends with kids who use knives on good bakeware, family who love bagels (and have cut fingers while cutting bagels), and a couple of brides as a general, must-have tool in the kitchen. It is definitely worth the money!

(More customer reviews)I have done extensive research on thermal cookers and purchased the 8.0 liter model. The cooker is well-designed because the handle design of the inner-pot makes it easy and safe to lift the boiling pot from the stove into the true vacuum flask. The inner-pot is of sturdy stainless steel construction and the bottom is reinforced to avoid burning food on the stove during initial preparation. Both the inner-pot and the vacuum flask are very easy to clean. The inside of the vacuum flask is smooth stainless steel with no crevices for food to get stuck so that you can literally wipe it clean should you spill anything into the vacuum flask.
The lid of the inner-pot allows you to conveniently see the inside of the pot during the initial cooking. The knob on the lid of the inner-pot fits within a matching indentation under the lid of the vacuum flask so that the lid does not slide around while the outer-lid of the vacuum flask is fastened. Both the 6.0 liter and 8.0 liter models have locks to secure the insulated outer-lid of the vacuum flast in place while the food is cooking for further security.
The brushed stainless steel exterior is handsome and easy to wipe clean.
Unlike electrical slow cookers (although I still find them very useful in many contexts), the heat surrounds the inner pot during cooking rather than just from the bottom of the electrical slow cooker pot. That makes cooking legumes and starchy ingredients easier because they do not stick to the bottom of the pot. Also, you can brown your meats in the inner-pot of the thermal cooker and then add your additional ingredients to the same pot unlike most electrical slow cookers's inner-pots.
So this product comes with my high recommendations. While this thermal cooker does retain high temperatures for longer than 12 hours, make sure that after your food has finished cooking that the food is not held at an unsafe temperature. Thermal cookers operate the best when the inner-pot is filled to 80% capacity.

(More customer reviews)I make 8 loaves of bread a week. These pans are by far the favorite. They make a beautiful med. sized loaf. So many pans are too wide and the bread comes out looking flat and pathetic. This will be the 5th and 6th ones I've purchased. I've had my other pans for about 10 years. These brown the bread beautifully and evenly. I waited to purchase 2 more because they seem rather pricey compared to what you might catch on sale at a discount store but don't bother with the other types (I did and it was a disappointment). Make the investment--you won't be sad you did. I have the longer 12inch as well and they are wonderful too. They just make a much MUCH longer loaf, which is probably hard for most to find bags for. Don't waste your money on a cheap pan if you are going to the trouble to bake real food.

Progressive International Rolling Slicer Review

Mine is from a company named EMSON and was made in the 80s. I have been searching
for this tool and finally found it.
I make Tabouli which requires fine-chopping parsley into very fine pieces.
After I do the rough cut, I roll over it (and the mint) with this tool.
Bottom line, it eliminates at least one hour of preparation. It's a great helper for under $10.

The cooler has a very small opening for water bottles and its always a huge mess to change them. This was just the ticket. Unfortunately after receiving this I tried to put it on an Arrowhead 5 gallon bottle...did not fit. Arrowhead 3 gallon bottle...did not fit. Sparklets 5 gallon bottle...did not fit. I'd like to know what bottles this is made for. For these reasons I give this 1 star. I'd give it zero if I could. Great idea but if it does not fit it's worthless!

Progressive International 4 in 1 Flavor Injector Review

(More customer reviews)My husband and I bought this flavor injector to replace the one that came with out Ronco rotisserie. It was a better price than a new one from the Ronco site, and it definately better made. The whole plunger unit is thicker and the finger holes are rubberized and easy to grip. On our old one we would commonly get the needle stuck and it would pull out of the unit - this one seems better designed and able to bear up under that pressure. I like that it injects both solids (garlic) and liquids, though my husband thought it was still difficult to press the garlic through (but not impossible). Best part is that you can store all the pieces inside the body so that you don't lose anything in your gadget drawer.

Rosle 19.7" Basic Rail Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this rail and several other Rosle items as part of a recent kitchen redo, and overall I'm very happy with it. It keeps a number of often-used utensils right at my fingertips, and I like the look of it as well. The only problem I had with it was in taking it down and putting it back up again (i.e., when the tile installer was working on the backsplash behind it). It's very easy to do---just unscrew the rail from the two holders (I got the ones that are suspended from the cabinet above because I didn't want holes drilled in the new tile)---but one of the ends of the rail was not machined as smooth as it should have been, and it BIT me! I actually got a sliver of steel in my finger---shame on you, Rosle! I expect better than that from German engineers. Other than that, though, I am enjoying using it and would recommend it to anyone who likes the "open kitchen" look.

I use each of them in my kitchen, like the 4oz as my salt bowl, 8oz for sugar packets,...they just add so much color and fun in my kitchen!
The quality is wonderful, and the colors are so vivid. I do not agree at all with the "plastic" feel. They are simply wooden bowls with a finish.
I'm sure I will be giving these as a gift again very soon!
