They're perfect for skewering olives in martinis, cherries in manhattans, etc. Sleek & interesting looking - they're almost elegant. They're also biodegradable and bamboo is a renewable resource. I've seen them at about $3 - $5 /100, but sadly, shipping usually makes them too pricey so I stick to toothpicks for groups.
