(More customer reviews)We purchased 2 of these and they are nice but the color is not the same deep rich gradient as other pieces described as Cherry or Cherry Red. They do gradiate in color just not as much as some lovelier pieces we have, these ones have more regular red than dark cherry. The bowl function is terrific, the capacity is large and the handles are what makes these bowls so great. They are heavy duty and durable and can go in the microwave and oven to melt/bake cheese if you like french onion soup. I am sure these will last a long time. I am considering getting 2 more so they will be like a "set" of soup bowls. These are super easy to clean up either by hand or dishwasher. We have had wedding soup, chicken noodle, vegetable beef, pea soup, chili with cheddar cheese melted-in, beef stew and even a large portion of oatmeal from time to time in these great bowls. Highly recommend.
