Unfortunately, this item is made from very thin and brittle glass. I realized this as soon as I unpacked it. My husband and I tried to store it in a safe place in the kitchen. Even in the tupperware drawer it shattered before I ever had the chance to use it. Neither of us even noticed when it happened.
